Safety/Security Window Tint
What is safety Tint - Security Control
Film?
Safety tint - Security Window Film
is a thick, optically clear barrier film that is retrofitted to the
inside of windows to reinforce glass around-the-clock, helping to
hold it safely in place upon impact should an attempted break-in or
natural disaster occur. This tint is made from the highest quality
materials, such as tough, high tensile polyester and ultra-strong
mounting adhesives. This tint comes in clear and several shades of
solar control. We will assist you in choosing the right level of
protection for your property.
The tint we carry passes stringent government and consumer testing. Safety and Security control window tint is the preferred protection product for home and business owners worldwide.
Weather Window Protection - The Tough Defense Against Mother Nature
Hurricanes are just one of the many types of natural disasters that can threaten the safety of your home or building. Even thunderstorms with high winds can have a devastating effect on window glass. Safety and Security window film is one of the most affordable, effective and attractive approaches to increased storm protection.
The Safety and Security Control Tint available through South Florida Mobile Works meets some of the most stringent building codes in the industry, such as Miami-Dade Protocol & Southern Building Code Congress International.
Crime Prevention - The Tough Defense Against Thieves
Criminal glass breakage incidents can occur at any time and usually
happen when you least expect it. To a thief, a broken window is an
open door to the valuables locked inside. Your merchandise,
electronics equipment, office furniture and other costly materials
can all be damaged or gone in a matter of minutes after a criminal
gains entry. Glass is an inviting
target for vandal’s intent on mischief or worse.
Windows and doors are the most vulnerable points of entry for criminals and smash-and-grab thieves.
Having and
using an alarm / security system in your place it’s always a good
idea, but as long as there is a determined intruder, little
protection is gained. Security films can greatly increase your
safety. Would be intruders cannot easily penetrate the glass, even
by striking it with a heavy object. Most of the times, criminals
will become discouraged and quickly move on to an easier target.
Explosion Protection - The
Tough Defense Against Terrorism
In an instant,
an explosion can shoot shattered glass fragments at lethal speeds.
Research determined after explosions, flying and broken glass is one
of the main causes of injury or even death.
While nothing can completely protect against powerful explosions,
security films have proven their effectiveness in these moments of
extreme danger.
Security films
are able to withstand extraordinary wind and force, security film
helps prevent entry of water and wind-borne debris, providing
superior protection 24-hours a day. Disasters can strike with little
or no warning; security films are always ready.

Watch Security Film in Action... Amazing!
This first video demonstrates how a window would normally react to a bomb blast without Safety and Security film:
Notice how the glass shatters and debris flying in all directions! This is what causes most injuries in Hurricanes, Storms, bomb blasts, etc. Falling glass from buildings or flying shards of glass can cause serious injury, even death.
This next video, though, demonstrates how a window would react to a bomb blast with Safety and Security film:
Notice how the film keeps the glass together! Don't you feel more secure already? Also notice how the window stays within the frame. This is caused by the installer also installing an Anchor System along the frame of the window. Having an attachment system is a must if the safety or security film has been applied after the window has already been put in the frame.

When Safety Window Tint is retrofitted to your windows, the installer can either install the chemical (wet glaze) or mechanical attachment system - offering even stronger glass resilience and more effectively preparing your building for potentially hazardous events.
The type of attachment system used depends on the amount of extra protection needed, your window types and budget.
